Salon du Chocolat

Kim at Parisian Events shared this video of the upcoming Salon du Chocolat Paris happening now until November 2nd.   And if you are in NYC November 7 - 9, you can indulge in sampling chocolate, enjoy receipes prepared live by chefs and admire the works in the Chocolate fashion show.   Paris or NYC, I’d be in heaven……..well I think if I were in Paris right now, enjoying all that chocolate I’d truly have hit my heaven.  Enjoy!

9 Couples + First Dance = Contest

We had a lot of wonderful couples this year and wanted to revisit their weddings.  So we thought we’d have a contest for the month of November and share some of our favorite first dance shots.  Below are nine of our favorites but we want you to tell us which is your favorite.  Leave your vote in the comments.  At the end of November, the couple with the most votes receives an 8×10 of their first dance.  So for our couples out there, tell your family & friends to stop by and vote for you.  And yes, you can vote for your own first dance too!

Shannon’s Got a New Look……

Yes, I’m no longer a blonde, well maybe a dark blonde but not what I’ve been use to for years.  But I LOVE my new color.  So we decided to head out to some abandoned railcars for a mini session of us.  We hiked through a dry gully, tall weeds and walked the track to reach them.  Course when we got there we realized all the cars were makeshift homes so we grabbed a few shots & left. 

I wanted to get inside the cars but I didn’t want to disturb anyone.  We had a lot of fun though!

Lisa & Bob’s Elegant Wedding

We had a wonderful time photographing Lisa & Bob’s wedding recently.  Everyone was super sweet!  In fact I think Lisa was the most relaxed bride I’ve ever seen with such a beautiful spirit too.  Congratulations you two & we look forward to hearing about the amazing honeymoon!!

Intimates with Aymee

Modern, Alternative Weddings….Not Your Traditional Elopement

We’ve had several brides contact us recently requesting information about our destination wedding packages.  However, they’ve been interested in customizing packages since they were planning more of an elopement.  Seems couples choosing to have a simple ceremony by themselves or with a couple of friends is growing in popularity.  And couples aren’t just choosing Las Vegas, they’re going for places like Greece, Scotland and Mexico.

Due to this trend we have created a custom four hour package for these couples that includes the ceremony, a special lifestyle portrait session and fine art album.  Think of it as a honeymoon/day after session rolled into one.  It can be glamorous and elegant or fresh and romantic.   For more information please contact us at: info@steevesphotography.com or 941.375.3519.
